Cultivating Happiness
At times, I find myself contemplating whether I'm on the right path. Am I dedicating sufficient time and effort to the most important aspects of my life—my husband, kids, friends, and family? Or am I simply going through the motions each day without making a meaningful impact? Questions arise about my adequacy—am I good enough? Am I instilling valuable life lessons in my children? Am I adequately preparing them for the future? Am I a competent mother and wife? Am I fulfilling my roles at work effectively? Am I pursuing my passion, and how can I enhance my financial situation while doing what I love on a daily basis? These thoughts frequently occupy my mind, leading me to wonder if I am causing unnecessary anxiety for myself. Is there a way to hit the stop button and cultivate more happiness and contentment in our current pursuits? I don’t think I have those answer just yet, but for now I’ll use this blog to help me.
A hint of “Red”
A couple months ago, my husband and I decided to take a trip to DC to unwind and strengthen our connection as a couple. If you recall my previous post about spending quality time alone, that was initially intended to be our DC weekend, but we had to postpone it until January. This time around, we chose to stay in the same hotel where we celebrated our engagement five years ago.
During our visit, we explored various museums in DC that we hadn't seen before. To add a touch of vibrancy to my outfits, I incorporated hints of red through accessories like socks, nail polish, and even lip color. What are your thoughts on this subtle style choice?
