Yes, I Will Be Wearing White After Labor Day

Hello Friends,

I know I have been MIA for a few weeks but some personal stuff needed my full attention. However, I am back and ready to push all the content I have written even while away. Having celebrated Labor Day a couple weekends ago, an old fashion rule came to mind “Do not wear white after Labor Day”. Ugh, whoever made this rule did not live in Miami or anywhere tropical. So my new motto is “Yes, I Will Be Wearing White After Labor Day” and no one can stop me!

Vogue had an article on this a couple days ago and it resonated so much! "Trade in airy summertime fabrics like linen and summery silhouettes like spaghetti straps for long sleeve tops and lightweight sweaters." I know for sure I will not stop using a ton of the white items in my closet like my jeans, and button downs. I will invest in a couple of nice white sweaters and maybe even a white leather jacket to create a crisp all-white winter look. I will also add some cute white loafers or white booties to the mix. Last year, I had purchases the cutest off-white booties. I can’t wait to start rocking these again.

Moral of the story; do as you please! Create your own do’s and don’ts! You are the writer of your story!

White Pants: A GO After Labor Day

White pants/jeans are summer staple here in Miami and I am definitely wearing them through the rest of the upcoming seasons. Here are some ways to style them.
